Ever since I went to a beach resort a few years back, I have had a tan that hasn't disappeared. My skin (especially my forehead and other parts of my face) have darkened and I don't like it. I've tried asking people for advice, but they tell me to wait for the skin to regenerate. Did I mention it has been 2 YEARS!? This might have something to do with puberty since I was 13 at the time. Does anyone here know what happened and/or know how to get rid of it?

well your entire body replaces itself in a year (not all at once, obvi! one cell at a time), so I can only assume that your body has decided that it will be in the sun very often and needs the tan (to stop you burning). This will impare burning, but if you don't like it, try sitting inside in front of a screen for hours; not very good for you, but should have a 'bleaching' effect on your skin. You could also miss sleep. Doing these things isn't good for you, but they will pale down your skin.

This would be more appropriately suited to the general hospital, so this thread has now been moved.

you are soooo lucky
my tan goes as soon as i go back to sunny old england (LMAO !! JK )
But you live in australia what do you exspect ?!
but if you live someweree were its not sunny (?)
it could have something to do with the pigments in your skin
and if you dont like your tan then i would say stay indoors threw 11-3 pm this is the hottest time of the day and were the sun is at its highest/strongest x

I realy dont think puberty is involved. I rather think you are still exposing yourself to sun, and your body just adapts to it. I really dont think spending 8+ hours in front of a screen will help you bleach (i do and my skin is always quite dark, i like it that way tho). If you really want to go back, id suggest you try some commercial products (there must be some) maybe that will make your tan go away. Try to consider accepting your tan tho, our body is wise, and if it decided its gonna get more pigmentation, its very likely it has a good reason. :)
