A woman dressed in red went to surgery today
For a heart attack had hit her in the harshest of all ways.
As she lie there on her bed she asked the doctor,
"Will I be ok?"

Trust me I'm a doctor
There is nothing you should fear
A little prick here or there
That is all that you will feel.

As she lie lied there she rest her head
Her heart soon ceased it's beating,
Dead, was the women dressed in red.

To the church the doctor ran,
Falling to his knees,
The virgin Marry in the window,
Listened to his please.

"She died," he cried as he sobbed his prayer
The woman in red, was no longer breathing air.
Guilty and doomed to a life spent in hell
He felt as though it was best not to dwell

But the woman in red appeared in his dreams,
She cried at his side while he held back his screams.
The doctor knew not a thing he could do
For this diagnosis, he was without a clue.

In the news the next day the headlines were black
Deep running ink, made quite the impact.
"The Doctor is dead, says a woman dressed in red"

Trust him.
He's a doctor.
Signed,
The Woman in Red
