Rep Block

I just noticed that

I saw a member who had 5 rep points but had only 1 block.
While I have 7 Rep points but 3 blocks...

These kind of questions have been asked many times but I didn't get this part of it.

What does the number of Rep Blocks depend on?

Rep blocks are based solely on Rep received, while Rep power takes Rep received, time on site, and posts into account.

Rep power is like a multiplier. The more you get, the more points you can give. The more points you have, the more rep power you get for yourself(plus other factors).

No, your rep power goes up for those things but they dont affect the green blocks. The green blocks are based purely on your total rep points (which you can only see in User CP). You get one pale green block for every 100 points, I think, then its more points 200 maybe, for the bright green blocks.

Your rep points come purely from the rep you receive from other users, your rep power increases by 1 for every 50 rep points you receive, and also increases by 1 for every 6 months on site and every 1000 posts.
