One of the 3people i told about my slitting hasnt slit before, she made me promise to tell her when i slit and how many, why, where etc and she gets so upset ...
Today i cut 6times cus i hurt her (great logic i know) and then she texted me with her daily check up
I told her everything...

Shes currently crying alot
Should i start lying to her? "/
Ive thouht about lying to her before but i could never bring myself to actually do it ... Would it be better to lie to her? Has anyone been in this position before?

Lying to her is not the best thing to do, but maybe explain to her that it's a private and personal thing and you'd rather nor share it with her?
Or you could use it as an incentive to stop...

It made me stop for 2weeks but then stuff happened and so did 15new cuts "/ ive asked her before wud she rather i told her and she said yes but i cant bear hurting her...

As kathy said, lying is not the best thing to do, if you dont want to get your friend upset then maybe just have a friendly chat with her and explain how you appreciate her concern but you just cant bare to see her upset, and just re assure her that you will come find her if you need someone.

I think what kathy said about using it as an excuse to stop is probably a good idea, if you can break the habbit that is :confused:

Yeah "/ my other friend phased out of telling people, she showed me her new ones when she noticed mine (i prefer to cut the back of my hand so its sort of noticeable)
I wouldnt have told jude if she didnt ask..
As i said i was using it as inspiration to stop but me and my parents had a massive bust up (as usual) but this time my dad took my ipod and i need music to calm me down when in mad so it all resulted in me cutting... i really wish it didnt come back

As the other have said lying isn't really the best idea, as she will probably find out in the end.
If you don't want to see her hurt then maybe exlain to her how difficult it is for you to see her upset and like Nat suggested reassure her that you will come to her if you need someone to talk to.
I think what Kathy said about using that as an incentive to stop is a good idea or atleast try and stop, anything is worth a try.
