I just joined. I'm Vaneskera, but you can call me than, Laura, or Vanny. :) I just turned thirteen a couple of months ago and I live in Upstate New York. I live in a complete hicktown, but I manage.

I'm interested in some winter sports. I live way close to Lake Placid, who've hosted the Olympics twice and have lots of facilities. I've been down hill skiing since I was three, cross country since I was two, and I started luge training this summer. I have good balance and speed, but I fail at everything else sports related.

I'm experienced with vBulletin forums. I joined a forum for tweens when I was ten and I'm now a staff member. I have a lot of awesome friends because if that place, and I hope to have a similar experience here! :)

I love writing. I participated in the YWP of NaNoWriMo this November and won by beating my goal of 30000 words. I was obsessed with the Volturi from Twilight for a while (:lol:) and I'm currently in the middle of trying to finish a fanfiction for it as quick as possible. xP

Welcome to VT :) That's cool you live so close to lake placid! I love skiing but don't do it alot...its mainly a vacaton type of thing. So are you going to try to go to the olympics one day?
