Anyone gonna see it?

I've read all the Narnia books, and I really am a big fan of the series. This book in particular was one of my favorites, so I do plan on seeing the movie shortly.


Anyone already see it? If so, how did you like it? Did it follow the book closely?

iv seen the film twice since it came out :D :D
iv read all the books got them in god knows how many forms etc and i loved them to bits :D

The film relates as closely as 2hrs allows, it misses out bits such as caspain and the star, but nothing too major. I found they spent little time on each island.

I havent read the book, but saw the film earlier and absolutely loved it. Best of the series so far imo. The 3-D was amazing too.

I haven't read the books. I read the first, and got really bored about a chapter into the second. Well, I was attempting to read them when I was about 14 or so, I'll bet it has something to do with how they're written. It just pushes me to choose different kids books over that one, such as Harry Potter since it's better written (flame me all you want, but J.K. wrote at least the last four books at a higher literary level than the Narnia books are at. It doesn't mean they're bad, it's just hard for me to read it because I find it more distracting). However, loved the first movie. The second was alright I guess. I'll probably catch it one day this month when I'm bored, since where I'm staying for Christmas is just down the street from a cinema.

the film could have been better as it didnt follow the storyline as closely as many people would like including me

I love narnia, the films are amazing!
I never actually read the books, but I plan too :D
Havent seen the dawn treader yet but I soon will :)

Mabey it is a good serise.
