What is your favourite Internet browser and why do you like it?
Both out of curiosity and because I'm thinking of switching. I've only ever used IE.
Fact

I've only ever used IE.
↑ this was me.
My boyfriend (tech nerd) had been bothering me about changing to Google Chrome for months. When the old chat stopped working for me here, I switched to Google Chrome... best move I've made regarding my internet server.
Seriously, it's cleaner, faster and I'm very impressed. Me being stubborn and only using IE for my whole computer life span until now, I had to actually admit I had been ignorant to other possibilities when I tried this :P
If you don't like it, you can get rid of it, but I seriously recommend it to you!

I like Chrome. Fast and stripped down to the core. I hate all the toolbars and ugly shit in Firefox and IE. I don't need a million unnecessary features, I just want to get on and around the Internet as quickly and cleanly as possible while retaining features that I do want (which I can add as extensions).
Chrome is sexy.

I use Chrome the most. I also use IE9 Beta (If you want to use IE use that version otherwise I would recommend any other browser) Firefox, Safari, and Opera. I like the variety.:P

I mainly use Chrome now, but I have IE9 Beta on this computer and its better than IE8, but I'd give Chrome a try, probably the best one I've used

Chrome. definitely. it just has something that Firefox doesn't have. Chrome seems...a lot faster. despite the fact that every 3 hours all the pages crash....>_> I also like the organization of the extensions, all with a special icon, with you can organize neatly next to the address bar. Firefox though has its ups
Chrome and Firefox are wayyy better than IE, but Chrome I prefer the most
edit: there's a couple things I don't like about Chrome...here's one...in IE you can press Ctrl+B in the fast reply and the text will be bold. but in Chrome you can't do that...you need to click the Bold button. it's annoying that's all

I've tried every single webbrowser there is, everything from FireFox to Maxthon. Google Chrome is by far the best web browser I've ever used. It's fast, AND VERY SIMPLE! I like the way it looks and acts. Its just better overall.

Chrome because I'm trying not to live under a rock.
But seriously, because it's fast, clean, efficient. And it doesn't slow my computer down...like Firefox did.

I use chrome when I'm on the pc, I used to use firefox but that was a painful experience. I use IE in school though, as that's what the computers have downloaded onto them.

I have no add-ons and Chrome is perfect.
If they'll take away from the Chrome experience, then just don't have add-ons? I survive without them....

I use the IE9 beta as my primary, and only browser.
The only toolbar I have installed on it is the Bing bar, so I can have easy access to things like my email and messenger contacts. (Not to mention it has Bing rewards! Which is pretty much free shit. Already gotten 400ms points from doing pretty much nothing. :p )

I absolutey love Chrome. Fast, simple, nothing you don't want.
And just to point out- I've used Chrome on my laptops and computers at home everyday for at least 2 years now and it has never crashed. I log into the computers at school today, and first Windows Explorer crashes then Chrome. Says alot about our computers at school...

I love Firefox, I've been using it since I was a little kid. My absolute favorite thing about Firefox is I have a "NoScript" add-on which turns off scripts like Java on websites I haven't approved. It's very good when you're on an unfamiliar website.

Well considering that it outperforms all other major browsers (That's Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, ect)........ ;)

I'm using Firefox atm, I used to use IE7 but I didn't like it much. I've tried Chrome out and it does look very nice and would use it as my primary as it's faster at loading pages, but compared to FF i've noticed that it's significantly slower at streaming, which is what I consider most important.... Pondering over IE9.

Chrome wins the cleanest web browser award, also the fastest. Other than that, I still use firefox because I am too demotivated to download Chrome all over again.
