I heard that everyone shavers their pubic hair now....is this true? it sounds like it would be itchy or painful....:confused:

No its not true. For some reason on these kinds of forums its easy to get the idea that everyone shaves but its not true. Most people prefer to be natural or just to trim a bit. Its your choice, you shouldnt feel any pressure over it. Personally I prefer to see hair, its natural, it just looks wrong to me to see post-puberty people with no pubes.

No, not everyone shaves, in fact most people would never shave their pubes. Personally, I trim mostly, but I shave every now and again.

I dont know anybody who has shaved their pubes. We sometimes share with older guys in soccer locker room when theyre done and we're starting and Ive seen a few and none shaved. Also porn - cant remember ever seeing a shaved guy but plenty shaved females.. So I guess its rare for guys. Anyways, Ive just started getting pubes and no way would I want to lose them after waiting this long to get them lol!!

I think, to add a little to what I said before, the thing is that on puberty forums people ask for advice on how to shave, will it itch etc.. So all the threads are from people that want to shave. That makes it seem like everyone else is doing it. But, obviously, noone is every going to raise a thread asking how not to shave, "How do I keep my pubes and stop myself from shaving", lol, never going to happen. Yet those guys are the majority.

No it is not true I dont i just trim and it is up to you but personally i prefer natural or trimed its just better

and its not gonna hurt cuz your shaving hair... not your skin.

I don't...I did once and when it started to grow back it itched like crazy!!! But I do trim.
