Why are lots of guys in North America circumsised and lots of British guys aren't ?

its more of a tradition in America to be circumcised. Most Brits have a foreskin; some have to be circumcised for religious reasons, others are medical, and some do it for their own preferance.

The majority of the the world's men are uncircumcised, the British are not unusual in that respect. Its really just local custom in the USA and (to less extent) Canada, whereas in some other countries its done for religious reasons.

Also because of medical beliefs but now the circumsision rate is lowering because they are limiting it to only medical practices or if it is a necesity

Religious, medical, social, and family traditional influence. Usually, most of the people in a region are either mostly circumcised or mostly uncircumcised. Many do it for family/ personal reasons, but in america, circumcision is pushed by doctors because of the health benefits. In britain, just like there are more naturists, being uncircumcised is natural as well.
