I'm tired of everyone giving a blowjob to Sheep.

Dogs, Pigs and Sheep are all equally epic in their own special ways. Personally, I prefer Sheep for the guitar licks, synthesized vocals, keyboard solo and Bible verse:

Dogs. Also, this thread is pretty useless. About seven or less users like this album and it's not even Pink Floyd's best.

Fuck yeah Pigs.
Tim's right. Not many on here have heard this album, not even the best of Pink Floyd. If someone started a Dark Side of the Moon thread, it'd get a few more replies.

You obviously don't notice how much you talk about Pink Floyd and OK Computer here on VT.
And good musical taste is based on levels of understanding music itself. Knowing that music isn't limited to certain type of instruments or that you have to fit inside a genre. Good music taste is one that is open to something that experiments or is willing to not sound the same. That's kind of part of music theory.

I listened to Pigs and enjoyed it, having said that I've not listened to any of the other songs on the album so I'm unable to compare between them >.<

I'll be the first to admit that my musical tastes are relatively narrow, which is why I don't spam here in the Music section as much as others.
Also, that's a different definition of "taste", but I guess it works just as well.

The Final Cut is what Roger Waters wanted as The Wall Pt. 2. Another reason why I hate it.
Also, Roger Waters & David Gilmour after PF:

Gdansk is still my favorite live CD/DVD of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I think "Amused To Death" is easily the best political albums that goes deep into philosophical lyrics also. It's Waters' best work to date and probably will always be. I'd probably enjoy this album allot more if I didn't have a hatred for Waters' personality.
Also, the lyrics to this song are perfect. Amazing live performance too.
BTW: If you ever plan to see David Gilmour live, don't expect to hear Echoes. Ever. He's said he won't play the song now ever sense Richard Wright passed, which is completely understandable. That's probably why I feel allot more emotion towards the Gdansk version because it feels like his last moments were also a great part of the instrumentation of that song in the live performance.
tl;dr pink floyd fanboy fapping to prog rock.

Considering that TFC started out as a soundtrack to 'The Wall' movie, I'm not surprised. But I still like it. The only problem is that Gilmour gets a total of one vocal lead when he could have easily done more. The sad part is that it's basically Waters' first solo album, it isn't really Floyd. There are exceptions on this album however that provide a good amount of emotion like "Southampton Dock", "The Final Cut", "Two Suns In The Sunset", and "The Post-War Dream". tl;dr fanboy defending The Final Cut

I'm still neutral on Gdansk. I've listened to it many times over, but I like the entire 'On An Island' performance.

lol not gonna happen. I think Gilmour is done, solo and Pink Floyd wise. A shame, but it was bound to happen. Seems that Nick Mason is feeling the same. I agree with not performing 'Echoes' again. It wouldn't be the same without Richard. His playing and singing made that song.

The album wasn't that good anyways. Sounded like walking into a gay bar and getting fucked by a dick in every position possible.
