What do you mean? What page do you get redirected to? More information in your post would be nice.

Ok, so McAfee doesn't detect the lesser known infections, by Malware I assume you mean Malware Bytes which is good, and anything by windows is totally ineffective as far as I am concerned. There are alot of spyware/malware things out there that cost money, alot of money. I personally like Spyhunter from Enigma Software. It is $30 a year and the best out there. I would reccomend you get it. I have never heard of Ad-Ware. Try restoring your computer to a time before this started happening.

While yes, it does sound like the work of a virus, I doubt paying for an antivirus program will fix it as the malware that caused this, was probably removed during one of her scans.
It sounds like your hosts file has been messed with. The hosts file is a file that can handle redirecting sites. Usually this is used by anti-spyware programs to prevent malicious sites from connecting with your computer, but malware can also edit the file to redirect you to sites of it's choosing.
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ect\ (Accept any security prompts that you get)
Find the hosts file, and open it with Notepad.
If you have Windows 7, delete all the text within the file, then save it (Note you may need to copy the file to your desktop to save the changes. Just remember to copy the file back to the ...\ect\ folder.)
If you have <=Vista, delete all text within the file, then add the following line: 127.0.0.1 localhost
Save the file (Same may apply as above, you may need to copy the file to your desktop to save it)
Your issue should be fixed then.

RunDLL32.exe is the cause
its not detected by any Threat removal software as the actual file is needed to run windows.
The malware latches onto the file and corrupts it.
Have you had the Windows Common Shell DLL. exe has stopped working error yet?
You need to re install windows to remove the problem
