Finally! It's been forever since a new Elder Scrolls game and I think Bethesda's learned a lot since Oblivion.

I wonder how it'll play out since there seems to be dragons.
Skyrim (http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/info/province4) is tons smaller than Cyrodill.

I can't f'ing believe it!!!!
Skyrim?! Of all the places they chose Skyrim!?
The toughest enemy we will encounter would be a Nord Legionnaire deserter!
Not to mention Nords hate magic and stealth...
First they said MMO, then they said Alinor and now this...
Alinor ( Summerset Isle ) would be waaaaay more better!!!!!!
I hope they did learn, the one thing I hated was that the Empire's capital, Imperial City only had like 50 citizens! Really?!

i know, the number of NPC was terrible :(
i would have loved summerset isle, or maybe elswyr(sure iv spelt it wrong)
valenwood or even akavir would have been better than skyrim :(

Smaller landscape means they can pack more in and with this new engine they're proposing hopefully it'll be alot more sophisticated that Oblivion.

This was taken from the VGAs by Destructoid, a perfectly legitimate and trustworthy source of gaming news. As well, just because the story is centered in Skyrim doesn't mean we'll be limited to it. If you all recall, the entire continent of Tamriel was mapped in Oblivion, you just couldn't access anything beyond Cyrodil's borders without hacking the game and beyond them there were only landscapes and trees. That was on the old engine.

Now, that's a game worthy of waiting for a little bit. Right after the next summer vacation, I am going to bring a new PC, able to play such games.
