I lent my friend my version of the Sims 2 for PC. Whereas i still have the expansions Nightlife and Seasons, well I had to wipe my harddrive, which means I needed to reinstall everything, the only problem with that is, my friend lost my game. So I was curious if there'd be anyway of installing my Sims 2 Nightlife, without having the original Sims 2?
Any help is appreciated.

If you still have the key for the original Sims2 game, then yes, just grab a torrent (Before I'm reported, it's legal) of the game, and use YOUR key to install it.
If you don't have the key, I could I see if I can find my copy of the Sims 2. I haven't played in years (And probably won't play it again), it's currently not installed on my machine, so that would also be a legal way.

I belive many respected and trusted websites have alot of game .iso files ready incase something like this happens.
Its perfectly legal. you OWN that game. just use your CD key.
Im guessing you will need sims 2 to play your expansion packs because basically they are expansion packs lol. They need the base coding from the main game to run
Good luck!
