random cuts keep on appearing on my arms and my hands and its so strange. They look like the type of cuts i would do if i was self harming and they are even in the same order like... but i dont have any memorie of doing them :confused: and it doesnt work saying to my mum that they just appear caus thats verryyy believable isnt it :') .... and again.. trying to look at the situation from a fnny perpective....should stop doing that!!!

They could genuinly just be accidental.

Or, if you don't mind me asking, how often do you actually cut? Because if you cut quite a lot, you might have just forgotten about some of them if you make a lot? Maybe? I don't know :P

They're the only explanations I can think of right now. But maybe when you cut out of impulse, you might kind of zone out for a bit? I used to do that when I was exceptionally anrgy, just zone out while I was cutting, then I'd zone back in and be like "WTF, my arm's bleeding!?!" but that doesn't explain why you're only noticing them after they've healed... Are you only noticing them after they've healed?

Yeah, that's all I can think of now.

Probably just got them accidently. The possibility of you sleepwalking and cutting, doesn't seem too probable to me ;). On the other hand, if cutting is a habit, and you feel it's really a part of you, and it's something very ordinary and usual, then maybe you did it without noticing...

Its likley they were acidental, maybe you just never noticed them before.
I find that quite a lot actualy, like a random couple of cuts on my ahdn and I have no idea where they came from.
Unless, like the others said, if it was out of habbit, you might not remember doing them.

Do you have a cat by any chance? Just thought I'd try that. I'll wake up and have a nice little cut on my arm that ended up being the cat's doing when I forget to cut his nails. They looked a lot like the cuts I used to do when I first started. Not anymore really though...

I pick up random cuts off of things everyday, their probably just accidental. Its unlikely you did it yourself

It could be accidental, or if u cut often then u could of forgot about them. But u said that there to perfect a cut. That sounds like dissociation. I dont want to say its something that its not, but maybe look it up if it keeps happening?
