Don't know if anyone will actually be able to help but the past 3 times I have purged there has been a little blood.
I am desperately trying to cut back because I don't want to do it in the first place but sometimes I can't control it.
Has anyone else had this problem and could you tell me if there is anything I can do about it ??
Thanks for any replies, much appreciated =)

I haven't had that problem, but I'm pretty sure the only thing you can do about it is to stop purging. I know it's hard, but if you need any support you can PM me if you want. (: Good luck.

Inflammation & rupture of the esophagus (bulimia)
Stomach acid irritates the esophagus, causing inflammation and raw areas, sometimes making swallowing painful. Of greater concern is a rupture of the esophagus because this can be fatal in some cases. A Mallory-Weiss Tear is the technical term for the rupture or tearing of the mucous membrane of the esophagus at its junction with the stomach. Repeated vomiting, although it is possible for it to occur after just one purging episode, can lead to a tear of the esophagus. The sufferer will have bright red blood in their vomit. Although a tear often heals itself after a few days, this is not always the case. Consult a doctor if you or a loved one is vomiting blood.
Stomach ulcers also can make you vomit blood.

like the others said, you need to get this checked out. now.
If you don't, who know's what might happen.

You may have a stomach ulcer. And well, for your own best try to see a doctor as soon as you can.

How much blood was it?
I've purged only one time, and I had a little blood along with it. You could be actually throwing up the blood, or maybe what happened was what happened with me.
I think I just scraped my throat or something. I didn't and still don't know how to force myself to throw up properly other than the basic idea. Just a tiny bit of blood came out when I was gagging and my throat was sore for the rest of the day. I did use a pen though.
My point being, it might not be something so serious. I would still see someone about it though.

thanks for the advice, will get a doctors appointment as soon as just in case. It wasn't a lot of blood maybe about a teaspoon but I'm really scared of doctors and wanted to see if I could avoid going. Hopefully it's nothing too serious but thanks again for all the replies, it really helped =)

I know that most people are just going to post answers like "You just have to stop" but I don't think they understand the situation. I used to cut a lot, but now every time I get the urge, I just take a really hot shower or something like that. I cut a lot less now and I think it might stop real soon. My advise is to find a substitute and a reason for quitting. A safe substitute though. I'm not sure that there is one for purging but keep an eye out. Find a reason like "I owe it to my family" or "this is going to kill me, I need to stop" whichever reason you can come up with. This isn't my idea with the looking for a reason, but a member on here told me this and I tried and it's working so far! Idk who to give credit to for that but thanks :)

No one so far has said that she has to stop and most of the members who have previously posted have eating disorders so I'm sure many understand.

That was me :D anyway...
As everyone has said you do need to see a doctor. I also suggest getting help for your eating disorder at the same time because you said yourself you are out on control.
