To answer your original question, yes i want tattoos, and i want plenty of them. Most i have already decided on, and when i turn the legal age, no doubt i will be getting the first one done. I will then see how time progresses and keep adding on and on until, well, until i feel like it.

My girlfriend is obsessed with em. My parents are completely against them because we are Christian and "it's not right to get tattoos". I`ll be getting my first two tattoos in the next month.
Two nautical stars on each side of my abdomen. Popular to contrary belief, it is not a retarded 'skater' star. Nautical stars, which should only come in pairs, represent peace and balance. The representation of finding your way through life. Its something I find very intregued and connected by since I was 11, when I first decided I wanted the tattoo.

I will also be getting my dog`s paw diped in ink, and tattooed on my inner forearm. It might sound silly, but my dog is literately my guardian angel. Before adopting her, I was struggeling with sever depression. Since having her, everything has changed. I have PTSD and sleep anxiety dissorder. I suffer from panic attacks weekly and have nightmares every night. Caddy is trained to wake me up from my nightmares, and get help/ get me to a safe place if I`m having a panic attack, or even prevent my panic attacks just my comforting me. She is my Physcatric Service Dog in training.She makes me want to get out of bed and live a happier, healthier life. A tattoo, in my opinion, is only a small way I could show the world how much this dog means to me.

In time, I`d like to get a ying yang, inside of a lotus flower. The yin yang, representing peace, and chaos. the world. the lotus flower, representing the struggle through life. See, the lotus flower starts out as a tiny seed, burried in the thickest mud, beneath lakes. It grows underwater, struggels to push through the mud, and stay alive on what little light it recieves. But in the end, emerges at the surface of the water as something beutiful and full of life.

I`d also like to get something tattooed up my side. Not sure what yet.

1.My mom said if a woman can give birth a person can get a tattoo

2.Depending on how big it doesn't hurt, the outline is a little painful and the coloring is nothing. Just dont think of it, think about something you wanna do.......just on focus until the persons says you wanna look or I'm done

In many years, it is entirely possible a tattoo you got is no longer relevant to your present life or beliefs, but it is a reminder or your past, be those better or worse times. That, in itself, is worth at least something.

what exactly do you mean by thuggish? it only looks thuggish if you make it out to be thuggish like gang/drugs references. And what about tattoos being associated with the working class? I know a lot of people who got most of their bodies tattooed and they are still getting jobs that pay $35+ an hour and work 12 hours a day. My brother has both arms fully tattooed, his right leg tattooed, and his back is tattooed, and he has a job at a military installation where he is working on navy ships and submarines everyday, and gets payed just to go to a class on wednesdays for 2 hours. And they are only bad for your skin if the person that is tattooing you either is not safe with his equipment or messes up. And it is not bad for your blood flow because even though your body is weak after it gets a tattoo and loosing blood, your body will start to build up your immune system and replace the blood you lost, that's why you have to wait a year to give blood after you got a tattoo.

Many teens think that all they need is parental consent to get a tattoo but it is really more complicated than that. Convincing your parents is often only half the battle. If it is not legal to tattoo somebody your age where you live no amount of parental consent will get you your ink. Your parents can not consent away the law. If you are not at the right age, like it or not you will have to wait.

I'm going be covered in them. My body is a canvas. The first tattoo I'm getting is a diagram of how to make a paper star on my hip. Paper stars have been te biggest part of my recovery in self harm.

I don't get why some people have so much against people with tattoo's. It's their choice, their body .

i personally want one, i like the idea of having a mark that can represent something you feel strongly about, and if you loose that feeling, it represents a period in your life when you did feel strongly about that thing.
