hygeine and infection prevention

hey i was just wondering..what do you clean your 'tools' with?? if you clean them at all?? are you even ment to clean them?? :)

Before cutting I sometimes put my knife into boiling water.
That is the only method I use to clean it and yeah, if you don't want an infection you have to clean you're knife regularly.

I've never really cleaned anything I used, but I'd clean myself AFTER I have used it. I used rusty ones before and I've never got an infection. Though if I were to clean them I'd use either rubbing alcohol, or soapy warm water and soak it like that so that all the bacteria is gone.

I've gotten an infection before, but it was only because I was so careless that particular time. I was really upset and I didn't bother to do anything with it after getting the bleeding to stop. However, that was once and I never have cleaned my razors actually, though I get new ones pretty often.

I have never cleaned anything I've cut with, but I clean the area of myself that I cut, but I've never had any infections or anything like that

I'm really over- hygienic. I always use antiseptic wipes to clean my blades and then to clean where i'm about to cut and then clean my cuts afterwards. If I don't have antiseptic wipes then i'll use soap and water.

i clean my scissors after i cut to get the blood off...thats it

I soak my in hydrogen peroxide I also clean the cuts

well I've only done this a few times, but soaked the razor in hydrogen peroxide, but usually if I "clean" it I just rinse it in water and dry it

:/ i dont clean my blades or my cuts :/ sometimes i dont even wipe the blood off till the morning after. But if i were to clean my blades i would probably just put them in some boiling water.

I'm like nicole94. I barely do anything to clean them. I wash off the blood & all when I take off a shower. & I wipe the blood off the blades. But that's really it.
