I'm guessing you haven't seen the actual video, because Kanye West's version is basically daft punks with some added lyrics on top, that and Daft Punk are actually in said music video, which is more proof that Kanye just remixed Daft Punk's original, just like with Jay-Z and Linkin Park's Numb...

The album that "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" debuted on was called Discovery, by Daft Punk, which was initially released on March 13, 2001. Proof can be found here of this date: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discovery_(Daft_Punk_album). Kanye West's version of this song, "Stronger," was released on July 31, 2007. The song contains a vocal sample of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by French house duo Daft Punk, who received songwriting credit and had their costumes appear in its accompanying music video.
