i love writing poetry but i dont know if its any good... id love to hear your comments and suggestions
Crawl
The sun will fade to black
The rain will surely fall
And come dripping down my back
While I fall down to crawl
But then the sun will shine
Ill rise back to my feet
Once again the world is mine
And there’s no one I can’t beat
Sadly there are those who can’t find
The path between the land and sky
They feel alone and left behind
They do not know there is one
Who can teach them how to fly
Yet there is a man who can
He leaves each footprint in the sand
Just waiting for you to follow
Right out of lives’ great hollow
Up onto the peak
And away into the sky
You’ve done more than get on your feet
You’ve been taught how to fly
