I had cut for the first time today. They were small and short and didn't bleed. I had to do it. I have no hope in anything. I do good in school and stay outta trouble. I get one bad grade on a POP quiz and my dad starts giving me a guilt speech. I'm tired of the way people treat me also. I just need help. And I don't want to ask my parent for a therapist.

Trust me stop while you can, It's an awful road to go down. I started self harming 2 years ago and haven't stopped since then, it becomes addicting. Maybe you can talk to a school counselor or other relative about how you're feeling, just please stop while you can before it becomes addicting and its too late to stop. We're all here for you on VT, and if you'd like you can drop me a message and i'll talk to you. :) stay safe.

Stand up for yourself. Maybe make some new friends if thats part of the issue. Although an important thing to remember is that your dad only wants you to have a lot of possibilities open to you. Oh, and yeah... NO CUTTY CUTTY.

My friends aren't the problem it's the this feeling of no hope or happiness and than my dad making it worse. I know he wants me to do better but I'm already in a extracurricular that is going to end up giving me 12 college credits when I graduate and I've been on the principals list since I started highschool. And he just complains no matter what grade I get. I'm just tired of everything. And I'll try NO CUTTY CUTTY

Trust me, self-harm will make everything worse. As it has been said, it isn't the path you want to take. It might seem like the way to go at the time, the only thing you can do, but it isn't. You can talk to anyone here if you need to, me included.

stop now! You do not want to do it again, although it may relieve your stress for a short time, there are much worse affects of it. Try your hardest not to do it again , ever!

I know it's been said by practically every person above me but i'm going to realliterate- self harm will do so much more harm than good. it's addicting and it will take over your life. You will never be able to wear a short sleeve t-shit again, never be able to go swimming again, you will live in constant fear of someone finding out.
The stress of being dependent on self harm is so much bigger than the stress that lead you to do it in the first place. if you ever listen to anything anyone says, listen to this. You do not want to self harm. However bad things seem what is self harm going to do? How do you expect it to help the situation? It won't, and you know that logically it isn't going to help anything.
Please stop before it's too late. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to talk about things that are bothering you.

I can only repeat what everyone else has said, self harm is a road you really, really dont want to go down. It becomes addictive and its a really hard habbit to break.
As this is your first time, stop now, while you can.
Even if it seems like a good way of dealing with the stress, it really isnt.
You can talk to me or any of us on here if you need help or a chat
