Okay.
Probably a bad question, but I'm considering going on meds for Bipolar..
If anyones on them, what general sideaffects do they have..
I'm worried that they will like increase my moodswings, and make them worse..

It depends on what you're taking, really. Are you bipolar I or II? (or one of the other forms?)
I've personally been on Abilify, Depakote, Lamictal, Lexapro, Lithium (do not take this, please o.O), Prozac, Tegretol, Wellbutrin, and Zoloft all to treat my bipolar disorder. Some of those are mood stabilizers, some are anti-depressants, and one is an antipsychotic. Some common side-effects you might run into are feeling more depressed, suicidal thoughts, weight loss or weight gain, drowsiness, nausea, difficulty sleeping. Though, if you end up on antipsychotics, know that the side effects can be... a bit more serious.

...Syvelocin pretty much hit the nail on the head there.
I've been on similar medications as she has and have had, well, pretty much all of the side effects that she listed. In the states I think that certain medications can only be taken by those above 18, but I'd check for your location.
If you do take these medications, be sure to find a reputable Psychiatrist to dole them out to you. I have had experiences with bad ones who have basically given me medications that I didn't need, and at the same time were giving me irreversible side effects.
I don't want to scare you away from medication though. If used correctly, they can greatly benefit the user. Like I said, just be careful who you get to prescribe your medication.
Best of luck to you!
