I have WMM 2.6, and it's a piece of shit. Every video I try to make, the quality is all bad.
So my question is, how can I fix it? I'm trying to make a series using the Sims 2 and WMM but if there's any other free software out there which is more useful I'd like to hear suggestions.
Thanks <3

Nope. All the good video editing software is expensive. No good ones are free. I can't even find free video editors.

I had a way better version on my old laptop, which had Windows XP. I can't even find that anymore. :(

I can't think of any good free ones. What problems are you having, though? I'm wondering if you just mean the quality of the video is bad, or the editing just looks really cheap and shitty.

I don't think you can do anything to improve the quality.
But the cheapest editing software I found was for $50, small price to pay for quality.

Okay, sorry for replying so late. I discovered that the videos end up being in perfect quality after they publish, but I got a new problem. I can't publish the full video of what I'm trying to make. It's 28:33 long and I don't know what the problem could be.
This message comes up:
Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available. and so on and so on.
What do I do I wanna get it published so bad.
I doubt the message is meaningful at all cause it worked before using this exact same type of stuff.
