Okay, first of all, props to anyone who got the Nirvana reference in the title.

Basically, my little (half) brother is coming over with my dad for christmas. I've been trying to get him more into rock music, especially since my dad got him guitar lessons. The thing is, he's 8 years old and speaks no English whatsoever since he lives in Belgium and I think he'd benefit from hearing some French-language rock music since he might be able to relate to it better.

So, I've been researching some French bands for him to listen to. Now, I say this as a proud Frenchman, but there are very few good French rock bands out there. I spoke to a French friend of mine (he's much Frencher than me, he grew up in France while I can barely speak the language) and he reccomended a band called BB Brunes. I listened to their record and it was pretty damn good. They had a number one over there with a song called "Le Gang". It's okay but it's been bugging me:

I KNOW I've heard this somewhere before:

Can someone enlighten me as to exactly what that track is ripped off from? It's sounds like the Fratelllis and I could be wrong, but that just sounds way too familiar.

I'm sorry, the song doesn't sound familiar. I tried researching, reading through the comments on the video, checking out their site. J'ai aucune idée :(

According to a comment on Last Fm it sounds a bit like The Coral-I remember When.

I can sort of see the similarities

Hope this helps
