Go to the gym to shed the pounds and do lots of crunches and situps to boost muscle in that area.
Good luck :)

Good luck. You'll have to shed fat on your stomach so the muscles can show. Obviously you'll have to bulk up your abs, too. Crunches and situps will help, but there are a lot of variations on those that you may want to try. Also, try a bit of running - a lot of people have found that to be a good ab building exercise.
Don't be surprised if you don't succeed by Christmas - building up abs can be very difficult. You may not build the entire six back by Christmas either, maybe just the top abs, like a four pack.
Still, good luck. It's a worthwhile endeavor :)

Run. All that requires is feet. Contrary to what Patch said, doing crunches and sit ups won't actually make a six pack visible where it isn't already, though it can certainly help with muscle strength and therefore core work is important anyways.
If not running, other cardio. Cardio cardio cardio.

Actually sit ups DO NOT help much. All they really do is screw your back up, instead do the plank exercise in place of the crunches. Professional trainers will even agree on that.

I've been doing sit-ups for over a year and its shit.
The things that help are more cardio type exercises like hiking, running, swimming
