Avant Browser 11.0

I just noticed today that there was an update, so i downloaded 11.0

I dunno if i like it, they changed alot around. It wont let me have google as my home page anymore, its AvantFind. I even changed it to google and it still wont work :\ Oh well, just decided to tell everyone this :P

Yeah, Avant Browser 11 came out a while ago. I've been using it and loving it :) You should be able to set your homepage to anything you want. I have mine set to Google.

Make sure you have tried this...

Go to Tools >> Avant Browser Options...
Right under where the menu says "Please enter which page to use for your homepage," type in whatever you want. Then press Apply, and then OK. Now test it by pressing the home icon in your menu. If you go to the website you set, then it's all good.

If you are having problems with that, try closing all tabs except one. In that one tab, browse to the website you want to use as your homepage. Now go to Tools >> Avant Browser Options... again and click on "Use Current." Now click Apply and then OK.

Avant Browser 11 is a dream - especially with the control of add-ons and with the new Avant Browser online database ^_^

Lol, yea i saw that Avant Browser Options yesterday, now i can finally start to enjoy it. Its quite slick lookin, i like the new logo too :D
