Hey people, i am wondering what is the best way to shave my pubic hairs.

I usually shave pulling the razor opposite of the direction in which the hairs grow, but every time i try to reshave the week after shaving for the first time after a month, i cut myself. I recently read that you should shave in the direction in which your hairs grow, but that doesn't make much sense since hairs cant get in between the blades and get cut that way.

If you wash the area first the hairs stand up, making the shave closer and smoother. make sure that you pull your skin tight, because this will make them easier for the blades to get at.

Use shaving cream or foam too, this makes the blades run smoother.

I tried doing that, but i can't cut down the hairs that way. And it wouldn't make sense if i would have succeeded, the hairs are supposed to get in between blades.

Well, I would do this in the shower and shaving dry is a painful nightmare. First off, you will need to clean the area that way it's sanitized. Then you will need to wet the blade, use shaving cream for best results. Shave upwards towards your belly, it's the way I've done it for the longest time. I've had little to no bumps at all. Then afterward you use a lotion or moisturizer to make sure it's soft and any irritation is relieved.
