I haven't been counting, the days have been a blur, but I haven't cut on my arm for about 2 weeks, (my thigh is another story.) However, the scars there are still totally visible. Especially when it gets cold, they turn purple. They weren't THAT deep... but not that shallow either. Basically, I'm wondering is it normal for them to be there after 2 weeks, still? Are they ever going to go heal completely and vanish?

yes, it's very normal. I have scars on my arm from june o_O I have a few from a few years ago too, but they're not very visible.
have you tried bio oil? It's pretty expensive, but it helped my scars fade faster.
There's aloe vera too, that helps, but i don't think it's as good as bio oil. but it's the cheaper option :P

I have scars from 08, and they weren't even deep. My knuckle scars are the worst in terms of them going purple, my thighs have the best healing rate though. That's probably why i cut there instead of my arms, i don't like my arms, and i don't have many there, but the scars are always visible. It's totally normal, and i wouldn't really worry about it, but if you don't want them there, try covering them up or something along those lines.

And some have faded.. Others havent. Infact the
majority havent.. so yea :/
I dont know if they will ever go away.. but try using bio oil, its ment to be good :)

I'm still bearing alot of my scars from a few years a go, but like Georgia said i used Bio oil for the ones on my arms and body and it helped to speed up the process. Its difficult to tell how long its going to take for your scars to disappear but it will take more than 2 weeks for it to fade slightly, don't worry it will eventually.

I have scars from as long ago as April so after 2 weeks i wouldn't worry about it. They may not fade but they do still have plenty of time to do so :)

Mine take two weeks just to heal o.O
The first of my scars are long gone. But those were shallow and it's been five years :P The rest I don't really know the date of, except for the carvings. All those I did three years ago, still very much there. I've accepted that I'll have most of my moderate/deep scars for a very, very long time, if not still when I die. Scars are... well, scars. They'll take a while even with scar reducers.

I have scars from 7 years ago... they fade drastically over time, but the deeper ones may not go away completely. I have the same issue, the deeper scars turn a purpleish color when it's colder.
Vitamin E lotion is the way to go, it's a bit expensive, but it's the best thing you can do to help your skin.

I know what you mean about being self conscious. Like, do they see them? What if they ask? What if they just assume? >.<

There's always going to be people out there that assume and that will notice, and at the end of the day, just keep your head up and keep fighting. if someone does ask, you don't have to answer, you don't even need to respond, but if you do feel ready, then tell them the truth.
