so im in grade 11 and im in careers class, since i started careers my parents and i have been talking about my future. My parents want me to get a good paying job and stay close to home but i want to join the army. When i told my parents i wanted to join the army they freaked and told me they would never let me join but ever sonce i can remember i wanted to join the army and im pretty sure that wont change.....what should i do when the time comes when i have to get a job?

I pretty much think it's your choice, YOU get to choose what you want to do. tell your parents that. By the time the time comes, you would be old enough to make your own decisions, right?

well.....yes i will be old enouph to make my own decision but they are VERY....im gonna say....controling and im pretty sure they will do anything and everything to stop me from doing it

If you turn 18 before you get out of school, they can't say shit about you going into the army

Parents are only there to guide, not to make decisions for you. If you really feel like joining, do so. You're already old enough to do so.

Once you're 18, they can't do a thing about it. Just walk into the recruiter and sign up. That said, think long and hard before you do. The military isn't an easy job, or a safe one. Either way, good luck. :)
