Ok. So, I originally wrote a paper in Microsoft Word 2007. My trial expired, so I converted to OpenOffice. I revised my paper in OpenOffice, and on OpenOffice, it fucks with endnotes and doesn't make them endnotish if you haven't noticed, so when I tried to reopen it in Word, guess what? My endnotes are fucked up and not endnotified. I shall show you to understand what I mean.

If you keep backups, there may be a backup of it on the backup tab (Right click the document, properties, backup tab). Otherwise, there's nothing you can do (Besides re-doing the endnotes), the file was overwritten when you saved it in OpenOffice.

If you have the original file, then I don't see the issue.

Well, I don't want to have to do more work than I have to. :P
This sucks, then. I have to transfer my revisions, which will take as much time as it did to freakin' revise. Gah. I hate Microsoft.

If it was OpenOffice that screwed with the endnotes, then wouldn't it be Oracle's fault? (So shouldn't you place your hate with Oracle?)

It's Microsoft's fault since I ran out of trial uses for Word. :P
