Im pretty sure this fits into this category...give it a read anyways.

My parents say i smiled a lot as a kid. But when i was about 12, i became too self-conscious and stopped smiling altogether. Now that im out of that stage, i forgot how to smile! It looks NOTHING like it did. It just looks hideous. Now is there anything i can do to reclaim my old smile? Please dont be an ass when replying.

I had the same problem. Now it seems like they are all forced when I smile for pictures. When it comes to pictures usually I make sure someone is there to make me laugh and a genuine smile comes out. Its hard to break but it just takes work.

Practice makes perfect? I had the same problem but I tend to be able to do it now :P

Haha... you gotta train your smile back... like a puppy.

Don't think I'm trying to be mean, I'm not! :)

Find things that make you happy or better yet, things that you find funny.

Laugh more.. You'll get the hang out it in the end :D

Damn it, I have NO idea how my family does it...maybe I should ask them what they do to get it out. I tried practising in front of a mirrror, but it just felt so wrong....

*Sigh*,
Its days like these where I wish I was Donkey Kong... doing whatever he feels like and is never taken seriously...
Ahhh, the simplicity....

just think of happy things.
unless you want some sort of "horny" smile...then think of things that turn you on.

When it's enough, you'll know. It's not about forcing it.
