Should I shave my armpits?

Right so I'm a 15 year old guy with a lot of pit hair. I started puberty early and am hairy everywhere I also look older (people say about 17-18)
I really really want to shave my armpits. For personal reasons only it will please me. However I don't want anyone to know about it cus they will think it's wierd and they may think I'm gay (I'm not)
I'm not worried about people thinking I'm a late bloomer (I've explained) so don't say Keep it cus it makes me manly or anything.
Another problem is I do athletics so everyone would be able to see when I wear my running vest......
I'm Also worried about irritation from dieoderants (I sweat alot)

Well its entirely up to you, personally I leave mine natural, but its your choice.

Personally I shave mine, while it isn't crazy bad they get long. I don't think anyone will care people around here shave themselves pretty much anywhere and talk about it publicly. I'm sure they won't care there either. If anyone makes a comment tell them you don't want a jungle growing under your arms or something to that extent.

Not really, it's reason is to collect pheromones from the sweat, not necessarily absorb it.

Anyway, it's all about your preference. Your body your decision.

You've asked for our opinion whether you should shave your pit hair, but haven't said why you want to do it. I really can't think of any reason to do this, but if you have a certain reason and it's important to you, go for it:)

It's your decision. I don't think I will shave any of my hair except facial and like my head hair.

It is really up to you you could trim it if you want but it really depends on the reasons you have yo do it

I wouldn't.. I think guys who shave their pits are stupid. But if you want to and it would make you feel better, go for it!

If you do it properly and do your research on how to do it properly then you'll be fine, as long as your careful and don't hurt yourself, then noone will really notice.

In fact, I shaved my chest and arm pits this morning and I'm not gay, I just feel that it my body and I can "clean up" if I want to. :)

So yeah, if you feel you want to do it, then do it. Just make sure your doing it properly and avoid hurting yourself you'll be fine.

MAYBE trim it, but i wouldn't shave it if i were you. 15 year olds should have a relative amount of pit hair anyway

I just take a beard trimmer to mine, it looks neater, doesn't it much and you can choose how long you want it

From personal experience, I shaved and I had shaving burn for 3 days, and then it grew back. I would say keep it. Also you would need to keep up with it every so often. Just keep it, it is easier.

Completely up to you. I don't shave mine because I have no reason to but you might want to for whatever reasons. There's no particular reasoning either way.
