I'm a sophomore. Freshman year, my GPA was 2.3
Last quarter, my GPA went down to 1.7

I've been going through shit, but now it's getting better. So far, I've been getting A's and B's, with one exception of a C, which Im bringing up.

So do I still have a chance to get into a decent college, with really low grades freshman and half of sophomore year, but really good grades for the rest of my high school years?

School's only see your final grade for the course, so if you bring it up you should be fine.

The Madness.

Exactly, semester grades are really the one looked at carefully.

That depends, define 'decent.'

You will need to haul ass junior and senior year, but it's entirely possible. The SAT exam can save you or break you at this point. Do extracurriculars.

I'm pretty sure you will, don't colleges mainly look at your junior year?
