Im 14, going on 15 on feb. A few days ago after having a shower, i noticed some fine hair on my chest... my heart nearly stopped.
Is there any way i can prevent chest hair growth? If there isnt, are there any tips on how to cope with this epidemic!? I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING SO SOOON!!! ;____________;

no, there is no way to prevent chest hair growth. Shaving, waxing or keeping it are the ways to deal with it.

No ways to stop it growing (well, no reasonable ways) but you can just wax it off if you feel uncomfortable with it. Why don't you grow it lots and then wax it off for charity? :D

If you want the best results you should definitely get it waxed. Even though it isn't always the most reasonable solution in the world it is the most effective. First of all, you won't have a stubble on your chest if it grows more than it is now. Which also means not as many ingrown hair problems. Also when you get hair waxed period it grows back a lot slower and when it finally comes back out it's soft so all you would have to do is get it waxed again. Usually depending on the person a waxed anywhere could last up to a month or more. Shaving isn't always the best solution for the chest.

I'm starting to grow some really thin, fine chest hair (I'm almost 15), but I doubt it'll be any noticeable because of my genetics. My brother's 18 and he doesn't have any chest hair you can see, and neither does my dad.
There was this guy on my cross country team with a lot of chest hair (we ran shirtless). He was very proud of it, so I guess it's just preference. Like the others said, you can always just shave or wax it off.

First of all, if you're having a panic attack because you're getting it at 14, try getting it at 12 like I did.
Secondly, just shave it. If they're fine like you said it shouldn't be a problem at all and you probably won't even need to all that often.

Relax there is no way that you can stop from growing but you can shave or wax it and you should look to your dad or older brothers to see how hairy you might get

I personally love having my chest hair, but if I didn't i'd just shave it off because u could do it in the shower and if it grows faster you take a shower every day so u could just shave it then

Also just remember that if you are shaving it, and later on you decide you want to keep the hair, it'll be hell when it comes back. I shaved my chest about a week ago and dammit does it itch.

u should think first... theres one kid i play lacrosse with who has a little chest hair, and we all laugh about it and were all kinda jealous. Its like having an extra step into manhood over your friends/team mates :)

Shaving is great, only thing I don't like about it is that it itches for a day or two.

I'm the same way. Unfortunately, theres nothing you can do right now except shave if you really want to. At the beginning of May this year, I began getting more hair on my stomach besides my happy trail. Now, i have a lot of hair on my stomach, and hair is now growing around my nipples and starting to grow on my chest.

you can't really stop it. unless you get laser treatment (and there are other procedures, but all are very expensive). But, you can shave, wax, trim, etc. I was in the same place as you. I hated it! but when you get a little bit older like me (im 17). actually, I love my chest hair now. But, I trim it. Just wait a little bit and you will probably embrace your chest hair

You said that you just randomly noticed it, it cant be that bad yet! right?
well if it is simply peach fuzz then i says let it go for now because when you shave it.. it will only grow more thick and more quick.. give it a little bit of time bro
