View Full Version : Why don't threads have an automatic lock

Instead of having mods hunt and search for them, why can there be a timer. Like if a thread has been inactive for more than oh say, 60 says, it locks itself. Does it penalize members who bump old threads? Honestly, I think that's a stupid rule. But whatever.

This has been discussed very recently in this thread (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=84684).

It looks bad to have a bunch of locked threads. Plus, the OP might want to post a relevant update.

the person that started the thread is allowed to bump it. and I don't think there's a mod for automatic lock. people just need to follow the rules
