Its not clear from what you've said whether you masturbated long enough to get to orgasm or whether you just rubbed for a while then stopped. If you just play with it for a bit you can do that any number of times in a day with no problem. If you went the usual distance then either you just werent really in the mood or you'd run dry as someone suggested above. You dont have an inexhaustable supply of sperm, if you wank too often sooner or later you will find you cant finish.

Never heard that before, not true for most people. Its just an expression that describes a sort of ache that you get if you have a raging boner for a while but cant take any action to relieve it.

Although the term is not literal, blue balls refers to an ache you can get if you get to a certain level of arousal and then don't ejaculate Perhaps the obvious example would be going on a date and making out but then having to stop and go home.

If you masturbated without ejaculating and didn't get blue balls, i.e. no ache then either you'd temporarily run out of semen becase of how many times you'd jacked off previously in a short period or you didn't get sufficiently aroused before giving up to trigger blue balls.
