i so totally agree with you...lol just because sometimes i dont want to see an oldish post and get all embarrassed about it or when it looses interest then i feel like a retard for posting it

There is a reason you are not allowed to remove it yourself.
1. People would be deleting evidence if they did something wrong.
2. It's just not worth doing because it would not only mess up the threads, but it would be everywhere.
So if there is a thread or post that you would like deleted then you can contact a moderator via PM for the appropriate section and link them and they will take care of it promptly.

you can edit posts, which is fine. I've asked for posts to be deleted for various reasons and its always done quickly so there isn't much need for a delete button imo

If you really want it deleted and can't be bothered to ask a mod, you can just edit the post to be blank.
