Since we have alot of technology today, We should make less rock and acoustic music, and make electronic cuz well, its almost 2011. And other genres are getting boring. And we need more artist who need to make dubstep, or more bands like crystal castles who use vocorder, and not auto tune. So yea, what do you think about electronic music?

Well even then the electronic "genre" is still a pretty broad term. There's some types of electronic music that i love and then there's some types that i hate. For example there's only a couple of dubstep songs that i like and im not a fan of techno or trance. But i like trip hop, ambient, downtempo, dnb, etc...

I like the variety that electronic music can provide. Ambient is probably the best side of it for me because it explores into sound that gives you atmosphere.

IDM, Breakcore, and Glitch are my other three favorites in the genre.

Seriously, NO. While I agree, electronica is a very very varied term, and covers a broad range of genres, I don't think you should rule out acoustic/rock acts... There's still so much to be done with it..

Plus, what the fuck would I do??!? I don't have a copy of Logic, and anyway, I prefer playing metal, there's nothing like being in a live metal band \m/

Dubstep fucking sucks. It's entry level electronic / baby's first electronic genre. Same thing with trance and that stupid deadmau5 repetitive bullshit.

Also, I'm sure you haven't even opened your ears to most genres if the only two you could mention was "rock and acoustic music". Acoustic music? I don't see any Rodrigo Y Gabriella blasting on my radio stations any time soon. You speak gibberish.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you don't even know what IDM, Glitch, Ambient, or Breakcore are. I'm sure that the only electronic genre's you know are dubstep and trance - AKA the two most overrated boring genre's. Dubstep is almost as bad as crunkcore/brokencyde. It makes me want to put a screwdriver in my ear holes and dig for hours.

Rating this as worst post of the year and now going to bash my head into the wall.
