After awhile of thinking, I'd say that they are my favorite band that I have ever heard. What are all of your opinions on the band? What are your favorite albums of theirs? Discuss them please :D

Personally, I adore Songs For The Deaf.

Favorite Albums: Rater R, Songs for the Deaf and Queens of the Stone Age
Favorite Song: probably Better Living Through Chemistry or Go With the Flow

There was a thread about QOTSA like a couple weeks ago. But hey, if there's like a million green day, gaga, beiber and A7X threads, then why not 2 for a band that's actually good.

Josh Homme is fucking awesome. I like every project of his. I recommend you guys check out "The Desert Sessions". It's another project of his that climbs into that desert rock feel that he shows with QOTSA once in a while.

Also, Them Crooked Vultures.

That was my thread

But yeah, QOTSA is good, and Songs for the Deaf kicks appropriate amounts of ass. However, I like Radiohead more :P

And Radiohead has WHAT to do with this thread? I mean, they're two different bands that play two different styles of music. What is i don't even

Them Crooked Vultures takes on heavy jams with their songs. I think that gives the album a harder, not metal, but just in your face feel. Lyrically, the album is Josh Homme's best.

inb4 Sage comes in thread and faps to TCV

Yeah it was still a decent album, you can definitely tell the Homme/QOSTA and Zeppelin influences... i guess its just that the new sound that they created just took a while to get used to.

Well, QOTSA and Radiohead are the only two "alternative" (in a broad sense) 2000s bands that I listen to. That's how they're similar, to me anyway.

Trust me, my undergarments wreaked of vulture jizz well before this thread was even posted. But Kyuss is good shit too- In fact, they reunited recently as Kyuss Lives and are touring again, but sadly Homme isn't involved in it.
