Hi all,

Like so many others, I've been wearing briefs (Fruit of the Loom) all my life, and I'm looking for a change. I'd like something a little more fashionable, and so I was pleased when I found the seemingly-perfect pair: Newbalance boxer briefs. It was only after I got home and tried them on, however, did I realize that they do not have a y-front/opening, which is a major no-no.

Can any of you recommend boxer-briefs (preferable ones without big visible logos) that do have y-fronts/openings? (Easily available in Canada is a plus!)

Hanes or BVD.

I like Hanes the best.

Do you know which stores - if any - in Canada carry these? The Hanes boxer briefs look a little long - I'd prefer something a little closer to the typical brief. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

Any others?

Well I live in America, but I'm sure your average mall has them.

They have all kinds of sizes too.

I've never seen boxer-briefs that open in the front, though I could be wrong. Keep looking!

I wear ftl briefs too. So far they are way better than anything else I've tried. So why switch?

for material its gotta be silk its so comfortable. for brand Zimmerli they cost cos there the best in the world

They're cut pretty low, is what I meant. It's a bit uncomofortable, but they seem to be the best option and I will pick some up today after school.

It's time for a change. Also, I am a bit self-concious about my body in briefs; I am overweight and going on an overnight trip with some other guys who will see my underwear soon. Also, I just like the way boxer-briefs look.

Way out of my price range and really unneccesary. Also, I want boxer briefs, not boxers.

I would just go with Hanes if I were you. But you seem to like Fruit of the Loom, so why not try their boxer briefs (http://www.fruit.com/mens_boys.shtml?4EL7601)?
