I have this huge crush on a guy that goes to my church. I always felt like he was cute, but I went on a retreat this past weekend and he was there, and now I really really like him. It's too much. Like every second of the past few days he's been in my mind. He doesn't even know who I am. We've never spoken before. And I don't even know that he's gay, too.

So what do I do? Find out if he's gay? Have a random conversation with him? I mean, he's a SENIOR and I'm a SOPHOMORE, so the chances of him ever liking me anyways are slim to none.

I'm from the UK so I'm not sure what the age gap is between a Sophomore and a Senior, but am I right in thinking it's quite a few years? Or not?
If you barely know each other but you're serious about liking him, you might want to not start asking him if he's gay/bisexual just yet. Maybe take some time to get to know him better and ask his views on being with another guy, that way you can estimate whether or not it's a good idea to take your feelings further, presuming he's interested.

If he's not interested, in some ways this makes your problem easier - try to forget about him and move on, there's not much point waiting around if he clearly doesn't like you.

Two years isn't all that bad - if you both wanted to be together, you could most likely easily cope with it.
As I said in my previous post, if you're serious about pursuing a relationship, get to know him better first before you make a move or try and find out whether he is attracted to guys or not.

hell, i crushed on a guy for 2 years, and it turns out, he had done the same, he asked me out 3 days ago and now were a couple XD

so get to know him, then decide whether to take the leap of faith :)

well im straight but mostly just try to avoide seeing him. after a while you may forget enough. but if you start to think about him just think about how hes not your type or all hisiprifections. try and find a new person to crush on. trust me ive had to try ro get over girls and this seemed to help me.
