just wondering if anyone else is obbsesed with emilie autumn :D I think she is AMAZING XD but to be honest I first heard of her yesterdsay so I am not to sure how that fits it) But she has a amazing voice and she is so musically talented :D and I love her clothes and her hair and everything about her XD so yeah any others out there...? or is it just me...

I'm more than obsessed...

I might sound a little creepy here, but she is a GODDESS! Favourite female singer by far. I'm seeing her a second time in February with a VIP ticket for Chicago :D :D Great voice, epic violin skills, lovely composing and song writing, and I adore her book. I live by that book.. I have a first edition printing of it :P I also have one of the magazines she auctioned off and signed. XD

She was how I figured out that I wasn't heterosexual :P Quite seriously. She was my first girl crush. And she's effing gorgeous in general, let alone for a 31 year-old. She's a great inspiration for me, musically and morally, since she has gone through/is going through a lot of what I have/am (bipolar disorder, self-harm, anorexia, rape, etc). I took AfWVG to the psych ward the last time I went, oddly they let me have it, and the experience was insane just lying in my bed during room time reading that amazing book...

I apologise. I become this little pre-teen fangirl when it comes to Emilie.

Yeah, AfWVG you can only order online, and they just sold out of the second pressing. :( The second pressing was signed too... bah, well, I'll get mine signed in February.

Are we Opheliac fans or fans of both Enchant and Opheliac? I personally love both and I got my father into Enchant. And I can't wait for FLAG. I wonder if she'll keep her industrial steampunk sound from Opheliac or change it a bit for the next one. I'm sure she's not going back to Enchant of course, but I've always been curious. And apparently she'll be doing an Enchant song on the NA tour, plus a new song or two, which is insane since she hasn't touched Enchant since her Enchant shows.

I haven't gone to the Lady Gaga thread and said that Emilie is better... so... >.<
Though now that I have the chance to compare them.... like everyone does on the EA forum...

They're freaking similar.I mean really. But I'm sorry to say that if either of them did copy the other, it would oddly be Lady Gaga copying EA because EA has simply been around longer.

Two things I do want to bring to attention are the claws/paws symbol that both of them do. And that EA calls her fan base plague rats and Lady Gaga calls her fan base little monsters. It's a bit sketchy to me... and EA did all these things first...

Plus I just think EA is much more talented. Not based on bias though. EA does all her song writing, all the instrumentals, most of the producing, wrote all her songs from the ground up. She even recorded Enchant in her bedroom. She's an amazing poet, writer, child prodigy, musician... ah, I'll stop now. I just think people should get to know their artists before making statements like that. I know Emilie well and Lady Gaga, I actually enjoy Lady Gaga's second album and I respect her very much. I just don't see how one can be better than the other based on pure music. Talent, yes, but their music is so different too...
