Liking my best friend?

I have a friend who is really nice and understanding and she's always there for me, to be honest she's sorta like a sister to me. But lately I've started to like her and I can't seem to ignore how I feel about her. But I dunno what to do about it, I feel like I want to tell her how I feel but I doubt she feels the same way about me also I don't want to ruin our friendship or make thing awkward between us and I dunno what to do.

Hey Liam,
You'd be surprised at how common this situation is among teenagers. I myself went through the same thing with a friend of mine, we met last November and by January i was 100% sure i liked her but was completely positive she didn't like me in the same way. Well what a shock i had when i did in the end spill how i felt to her. She liked me back, i was just too blind to see it. 10 months on we're still together :)

Best thing to do is just be honest with her, because you're never gonna know unless you are. Is there any reason you think she doesn't like you back?

I dunno the past two boyfriends she's had are nothing like me but they didn't go very well

Then that should be a good thing! If you're nothing like them and they didn't make a good couple chances are you're that guy she needs for a good relationship :)
