View Full Version : Long Distance Relationship... gone bad

On October 16, I started dating this guy in Canada. We haven't been talking very much, maybe 2-3 weeks with one of them being before he and I started dating. the past 3 weeks I haven't been able to talk to him and I'm thinking that it maybe isn't worth it if I can't talk to him very much.
But there is a dilemma. There's no gay guys in my school. I mean, I could like, date a gay freshman or a guy from a different middle school. I'm just not sure if a long distance relationship is even worth it anymore.
Any advice?

In your case, it seems like both of you wouldn't mind ending the relationships. You never really see each other, and you both have a life to live that shouldn't be bogged down by the absence of one another or the thought that he could be cheating on you or vice versa. You should stay good friends, but maybe more as "friends with benefits" as some say.

Yeah, that's kinda what I offline messaged him on msn for.

Do you think either of you will be able to see each other in person at all? I'm in a long distance relationship myself (over a year) and I can honestly say that it's not their absence that's the hard part, it's when you finally see them and have to let them go again. The goodbyes are the worst, kills every time. Of course it depends on how much you two care for each other and how committed both of you are. If it's anything like that then it's definitely worth it. But you two haven't dated or talked that long at all and I'm not quite sure how the connection is between you two.
