ok so, earlier i self harmed on my legs pretty badly. they wernt deep but there are a lot of them, the problem is that every time i walk they split open and bleed again. the question is, how can i stopn them from doing this? i can't exactly stop walking until they are healed.

Are they still open or is it the scabs? If they're still open, you could try some steri-strips to encourage them to stay closed. That's my only idea.

For depending on how deep they are, when we don't have easy access to stitches we often use super-glue to hold the wound closed until it has had a little time to heal it also creates a bacteria barrier.

Ya liquid skin/new skin is basically super-glue

What I was going to say. But well, since you said you don't have any, I don't really know..

My suggestion is put your leg up and lay down, make sure it's above your heart so it stop the flow, for a few hours. In the mean time bandage it up. Try not to walk on it so much. Make sure you keep hydrated so you don't get dehydrated from losing blood. I hope this helps.

However, it is not and superglue should NEVER be used to close cuts

What makes you say that?

It's not meant for topical use, will impede healing ultimately and i think is toxic.

Really it depends on what type of glue you get. If you look at what the glue is made of is what really matters. Standard ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate, the main ingredient is used in Krazy Glue, yes does break down into a toxin that causes irritation of the skin, however you can get a superglue made with 2-octyl cyanoacrylate which is also used as a medical glue, it is often used for surgery as it has less of a chance of infection than standard sutures, it also helps to prevent scarring.

You won't get that at the hardware store, and that won't be sold as superglue/krazyglue

Actually you may be able to get it at a hardware store, because it bonds well to glass.

Still not advisable. In the same way you shouldn't suture yourself even if you have the tools
