I've been using cocoa butter for the last 3 days to help my scars become less noticeable. How long would I have to use it for it to not be noticeable if im having sex? They're on the upper part of my arms and mainly concentrated on my right one.
Also, does taking showers everyday help it too? And is there any brand of body wash that helps heal skin so scars become less noticeable?

For the last ten days i have been using this thing my mum gave me
its called Arnica bruise relief cream, yes i admit its for bruises but it
has made some of them fade quite alot. So its always worth a try :)

I can look for it when I go to Wal-Mart next time. I'd rather use stuff that I know we have at home. Are there any first-aid type of supplies I could use that your aware of?

There are quite a few products out there to fade scars. I personally get results from a Neutrogena product. I can't think of anything else, though I know my mother used to keep scar cream in with the first aid supplies. I also hear olive oil can help, if you can't get to some scar reducers.

Thanks. And I decided to Google it and someone said that Neosporin works. Has anyone here tried it before?

Yep, Neosporin has a product, and how and if it works can vary, but it probably will if you apply it as directed consistently. I had used something on a surgery scar I had, it took a bit but after consistent application the results were very obvious compared to how it looked before.

Does Neosporin work on very old scars?

^ Yep, it does actually, it'll just take a bit longer, but it should get better.

Quite a famous (and one of these scientific genius stories) one over here is called Bio-Oil.
Yes its all commercial and stuff but all the clinical trials are technically sound and the stuff does actually work.
Give it a go....its designed for mainly stretch marks but i'm sure it should help.

I've heard that Bio-oil actually works. I've heard it's meant to take 3 months to fade the scars :)
