I just noticed that the total number of posts shown at the bottom of the forum is over 947K which got me wondering how long it would take to get to the million posts. Anyone able to tell from the database what an average number of posts per month would be?

Except that the rate of posting might have been slower at the beginning. The average for the last year would be more relevant. Maybe I could do it with a search, in fact I'm pretty sure I could....

Then we would say " Oh ! VT's first day with only 2 members is as active as today ! "
We should be able to see either if VT is less active than before or not

Thanks Ant.
Must have been quite some accelleration at some point. Would there be some way to identify the 1 millionth post when it happens, it would be kinda nice to congratulate whoever gets that.

Wow, I knew the site was popular, but I've never noticed all those 1000's of posts.

About 50 days is the amount of time I'd expect it to take.
So sometime at the beginning of next year?

I've made a guess the date competition (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=88069) for this....
