Tights with shorts

So I've been noticing. A lot of girls are wearing shorts with tights in winter. What is your opinion on this? Personally, my first thought was, it's winter, what are you wearing?! O.o However, I think recently my opinion has changed to it's sort of cute. XD

Also what shirts would you wear with this? Also what shoes? I am curious.

I think patterned/coloured tights are even better than just plain black ones,
You could wear converse, pumps, slip ons, Uggs, or lace up boots and any shirts really
Shorts and tights go with everything

Hmmm. No thank you :D I'd probably do stockings with that look, but not tights, and I don't wear shorts. And I can't stand knowingly wearing something that has to do with a popular trend o.O Good for anyone else though if that doesn't bother them.

i wear denim jeans with skin coloured tights pumps and a lumberjack top :}
