So I had my first recently and I had some questions.

Are Tampons better than Pads? People told me they are good for sports and less messy but I dont play any sports so which would be better for me? Also is it ok to masturbate while im on my period? Or do I have to go without it for a few days?

Im sorry if im breaking any rules with these questions Im just wondering. :confused: :what:

Firstly, tampons and pads question is totally personal preference. I myself prefer pads because tampons feel weird for me... Tampons generally have less mess though.

As for masturbation whilst on your period, I'm not 100% sure, but I think there might be increased risk of infection if you do it. So, not advisable really - you can survive a couple of days without :P

Like Fact said, it's a matter of opinion about the tampons or pads. Since you don't do any sports I think pads would be just fine, but then again tampons would be less messy and you would feel more secure wearing them, but for me personally they are a little uncomfortable and it takes some time getting used to. But if you've only just started tampons aren't adviseable.

And yes you can. It would be very uncomfortable and a little gross xD But I think I read somewhere that masturbating whilst on your period helps get rid of your period quicker... somehow.

True it's about preference when it comes to pads or tampons.I prefer tampons bc to me it's less messy and ewwy. I used pads when i first started and it was a horrible experience for me.
As for masturbating on your period, i do it all the time. I have heard that it can cause an infection, but i'm still good. And it has never really stopped early for me. Same old same old.

As everyone has said, it is all about preference for tampons and pads. Personally I find tampons better- more comfortable and tidy but other people will say different. Tampons carry a higher risk of infections etc.
As for masturbating i've never heard the thing about infections... although i suppose this depends on how you masturbate.

Ok thanks for the advice. Im most likely gonna go with pads. I would probably forget I had the left the tampon in and I know that can be bad

I read somewhere that when you orgasm it does something to the pelvis(contracts or something like that) which makes all the blood come out faster. My periods usually last like a week and a half but the one time i masturbated during it it was only 1 week long.
