Well it's coming up to Christmas, and this was something I had to write for English and I'm that bored I decided to type it up for you all to read XD
We were on limited time, hense why there could be more detail etc.
A small shaking finger edges towards the rusty switch, the crowd holds their breath in suspence as it seems to be a slow motion movie. Huddled up like penguins awaiting dinner, hats and scarves masking the croud.
With a loud click echoing through the silence, a matter of eseconds seeming to drag for hours. Suddenly a crackle rings as the road becomes illuminated with a rainbow of colours, shimmering off the icy stones and glowing in the darkening sky which was slowly being populated by a dusting of stars.
A roar of carols could be heard for streets as the community celebrated the opening of christmas. The snowy dusting begins to fall from the sky, icing the village with a thick layering of winter.
Children begin laughing as they engage in snowball fights battling like soldiers on either side of forts constructed from cars, trees and walls, parents watch with glee as the families come together, munching mince pies and sharing the mulled wine from the nearby kitchen.
Santa plods along in all his ruby red glory, sharing out trinkets between the youngsters from a stocking which towered over most of the children. Wrapped so delicately, each sealed with an assorted ribbon to be left under the tree for Christmas day.
