I started drinking recently. Though I feel no affect. I drank probably 8 to 12 ounces of 80 proof whiskey last night(in juice), I felt no affect aside from being dizzy and having a head ache in the morning.

Pint of milk half an hour before you start drinking, and a couple pints of water before you go to bed. That way you'll last longer and not wake up hung over.

Not that I'm giving youu tips on alcohol abuse o.o

The point is, why didn't I feel any GOOD affects, those I like, but haven't experienced.

Lol well as has been said, if you felt that then you were pissed :P

Just don't over do it; don't forget that alcohol is a toxin that the body will get out of itself asap.

Not everybody likes drinking, just consider yourself lucky you won't get addicted
Alcoholism is generally considered undesirable....

:p
Doesn't mean it depresses you, that just means it slows down your Central Nervous System
A lot of people feel giddy on alcohol xD

drinking can be fun, but dont go too far with it. I have friends who have death certificates from drinking too much, some, thank god were revived, but others sadly not.

Also dont let it rule your life. I used to be an alcoholic, and it seriously effects your social life, as well as the obvious physical damage.

Drink in moderation, Keep it fun :]

I tend to drink a lot when I drink, or at least I used to, but I rarely found it that enjoyable tbh. I usually drank more and more in hopes that it'd get better, but it never did. The buzz from barely being drunk is as good as it gets imo, afterwards I always just find it more and more downing.

I do enjoy drinking, but I tend to feel the effects. Probably cause I'm just 15. :P

And the effects won't necessarily be ones you'll notice. You know that you're killing your liver by drinking so much? Units, they do all add up.
Alcohol is known to actually cause forms of cancer if drunk in excess. So be careful!

Maybe it's what your drinking. Things such as whisky and brandy make me feel ill wheres clear spirits, such as vodka, don't.

Oh yeah btw, spinning is kinda normal when you drink a lot, especially if you let yourself relax a bit (sitting or laying down often does it for me).

There could be a lot coming into play. For one, if you ate a lot that day before you drank, that would greatly effect the high. Also how quick you drank it.

But honestly, getting high on alcohol isn't that fun for me. I just feel gross the next day. Not a hangover, but I just feel dirty and gross... But seriously, why would I want to act goofy all night and make a fool out of myself then pass out? Seems like a waste of time to me.

some people don't act goofy. I, for example, get very internal become quite and think very profound thoughts. Essentially I am a mellow buzz kill drunk but still interesting to have at a party for a random off comment every so often.
